Token Faucets

Test token faucets provide free tokens on blockchain test networks (testnets). These tokens are not real and cannot be traded for value. They are designed for the following purposes:

  • Deploying and testing smart contracts
  • Simulating transactions
  • Running dApp development workflows
  • Practicing blockchain usage safely

Using a faucet ensures developers and testers can interact with a blockchain without spending real assets.

Request Testnet WATR Tokens​

To interact with the network (deploy contracts, send transactions), you'll need test WATR tokens.

  1. Visit the Watr Testnet Faucet
  2. Paste your MetaMask wallet address
  3. Click "REQUEST 2 WATR"
  4. Wait for confirmation – tokens should appear in MetaMask

Troubleshooting​

If Tokens Don't Show Up:​

  • Make sure you're on the correct network (Watr Testnet)
  • Click "Import Tokens" in MetaMask and add WATR manually if needed
  • If the faucet is rate-limited or unavailable, please try again later. You may request tokens periodically, subject to anti-spam limits
Important Notes
  • Test tokens are for development only. They hold no real-world value.
  • Always double-check that you are on the Testnet and not the Mainnet while testing.
  • Never share your private key or seed phrase.
